We
would like to acknowledge the numerous
contributions that people and organizations
have made to the history and development
of BODY IMAGE
WORK INC.
Firstly,
it is through the support and funding
of Alberta Mental Health Board, Children's
Mental Health and the Calgary Health
Region that the original vision came
to life. Now, these "second generation"
Body Image Kits will be accessible
and available to so many through BODY
IMAGE WORKS INC.
|

|
|
Secondly. Alberta Learning and the
Alberta Human Rights Commission were
staunch advocates of the "first
generation" Body Image Kits and
their enthusiasm for the product continues.
It is through partnerships like these
that children's lives are changed
for the better.
Thirdly,
the community of Calgary has shown
their support for our work in so many
ways. People too numerous to mention
have made significant contributions
to the development and implementation
of our ideas. We are so grateful for
our region's interest and participation.
Finally,
we would like to thank our friends
and family for providing us with the
foundation of love that allows us
to pursue our dreams...just imagine
a world where people felt good about
their bodies.
